Rates are the ones in force right now, read live from the same place the request page reads them. A rate can change; the rate you are quoted on a request is the rate you are quoted, and it is never changed after you have been quoted it.

3. Pick-up and delivery
Staffed pick-up in El Segundo is free. Custom delivery throughout LA has a flat fee per booking, with the address confirmed by Mells. Named airport options are shown when available; LAX pickup is at Budget parking, not at a terminal. Mells covers Budget parking and confirms reimbursement details before the trip. Discounts and codes apply to the rental price, not delivery. The request form shows the current fee for your chosen vehicle.

4. Welcome discount and promo codes
10% off your first trip when you create an account and confirm your email — applied by itself on the request page once you are signed in, no code to type. It comes off the trip price after any long-trip discount, and it does not combine with a promo code: whichever is larger is the one applied.
A code is entered on the request page and checked there and then. It comes off the trip price after any long-trip discount, never off delivery, and it can never take a price below zero. If a code does not apply — wrong vehicle, too short a trip, outside its dates, or used up — the page says which, before you send the request.
Online completion with G-Motion
Your estimate includes the rental and selected delivery. Protection options are presented during checkout and priced separately by G-Motion. After availability is checked, a G-Motion manager contacts you, explains the final price, handles secure licence verification and electronic signing, and arranges payment. Review the final itemized price before paying.
5. Taxes and assessments
Every price display on this site carries a line for taxes and assessments. Until the applicable California treatment for these rentals is confirmed in writing, that line reads Confirmed before payment rather than an amount: a figure we could not stand behind would be a claim, and so would a zero. The itemized total, including that line, is shown before you authorize any payment.
6. Deposit and payment
The deposit for each vehicle is listed above. It is a hold, not a charge, and it is released after the return inspection unless something is owed under the rental agreement. Online payment is not yet taken on this site: a request is reviewed by a person, and the final itemized amount is shown before you authorize payment. A displayed estimate may change before payment if you change the vehicle, dates, drivers, mileage, or requested use, or if a required tax or provider charge changes.
